Job Description

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Document Control Assistant to work for a well established manufacture in the Dallas Fort-Worth area. The company develops and manufactures specialized healthcare products,with a focus on quality, innovation and improving patient care. This position is responsible for assisting with controlled documents, training records, databases, regulatory files, and general administrative activities within a regulated medical device environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, accurate, methodical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while following established quality system procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with document control activities in accordance with company quality management system procedures. Create and format specifications, procedures, forms, and other controlled documents. Route and track documents through review and approval. Issue controlled documents to satellite locations and coordinate the removal of obsolete revisions. Review documents for obvious content errors, spelling, punctuation, and formatting consistency. Maintain controlled document files, document databases, and related records. Follow up on outstanding document-control activities and keep the supervisor informed of status. Assist with maintenance of the electronic quality management system (eQMS), including MasterControl. Assist leadership with organizing and tracking quality and regulatory records. Training Records Coordinate and maintain employee training records in accordance with internal training procedures. Maintain the training database and support timely completion and documentation of assigned training. Assist with filing and updating training records and related job-code information. Administrative Support Prepare, type, file, organize, and maintain documents, and records. Process quality, regulatory, and intellectual property forms and files with a high level of accuracy. Manage multiple assignments and seek guidance when priorities or requirements are unclear. Qualifications Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Methodical approach to work and consistent follow-up on open items. Ability to maintain accurate and orderly records. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment. Experience with document control, quality systems, training records, or an eQMS is preferred. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to three years of related administrative, document control, quality, regulatory, or training-record experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
