Job Description

Document Control Administrator -
Quality Records Pay:
$28.00-$32.00 per hour
Location:
Northwest Houston, TX 77092
Job Type:
Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Lofton Staffing is hiring a Document Control Admin for a manufacturing client in Northwest Houston. This position will be responsible for maintaining quality records, preparing documentation packages for completed orders, and ensuring records are accurate, complete, and properly organized. The ideal candidate will have experience with Material Traceability Reports (MTRs), quality documentation, and document control in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint are required. SAP experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize quality records and technical documentation Prepare and build Data Books for completed customer orders Compile Material Traceability Reports (MTRs), inspection logs, test reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and other required documentation Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation Maintain electronic and hard-copy records in an organized manner Enter and maintain information in company databases and systems Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint for documentation and records management Write, revise, and maintain procedures and work instructions Coordinate with quality, production, engineering, and other departments to obtain required documentation Track and resolve missing or incomplete records Support document control and records management processes Perform other administrative and documentation duties as needed
Requirements :
Experience working with Material Traceability Reports (MTRs) Experience building Data Books or similar documentation packages Experience with quality records, inspection documentation, and technical records Experience writing or revising procedures and/or work instructions Intermediate to advanced computer skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to organize large amounts of documentation and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP experience Manufacturing, industrial, or technical documentation experience Experience with document control systems Familiarity with Certificates of Conformance (CoC), inspection reports, and test documentation Experience working with engineering or quality departments #INSJ
