Zions Bancorporation is accepting applications for a Collateral Custody Specialist within the Asset Based Lending department. This role is responsible for the safekeeping, verification, and ongoing management of collateral perfection documentation for Non-Depository Financial Institution ("NDFI") and private credit related transactions utilizing borrowing base lending structures. The Specialist may also monitor and manage other types of collateral as necessary. The Collateral Custody Specialist will ensure collateral documents are properly perfected, documented, housed, and safeguarded throughout the life of the loan. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to include and/or accomplish: Evaluate, recognize, and safe keep collateral perfection documents consistent with Bank policy, and regulatory requirements. Support pre-closing perfection documentation verification and provide Lenders and Credit Administration with details of collateral that meets perfection requirements for lending purposes. Review Borrowing Base Certificate submissions and reconcile to collateral eligibility and documentation support. Coordinate with borrowers, approved third-party custodians, collateral vault suppliers, and lenders regarding the collateral documentation, custody, verification, and safekeeping. Manage the additions and releases of collateral perfection documents Perform periodic audits and reviews to confirm all related information reconcile. Identify, document, and escalate collateral documentation exceptions, discrepancies, deficiencies, custody issues, and other matters requiring remediation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires a High School diploma or Equivalent. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements. Experience in loan documentation, collateral document management, banking, asset-based lending processes, or other directly related experience. Familiarity with collateral perfection documentation, UCC filings, UCC searches, document custody, collateral release processes, and borrowing base information related to private credit or NDFI transactions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail Ability to organize, maintain, review, validate, and monitor collateral records in approved physical and electronic storage locations. Working knowledge of computer software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
