Document Control Specialist at Ultimate Staffing Services Document Control Specialist at Ultimate Staffing Services in Salt Lake City, Utah Posted in 11 days ago. $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Document Control Specialist in Salt lake City Utah This a Temp role and high potential fulltime conversion, 100% on site Summary Ensures the accuracy, accessibility, and compliance of all controlled documentation by maintaining document standards, coordinating change management, and producing clear, concise, and compliant technical documentation. Supports Engineering, Quality, Operations, and R D by drafting, editing, issuing, and archiving controlled documents in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements Job Description Manage the creation, revision, formatting, issuance, and archival of controlled documents including SOPs, work instructions, forms, specifications, and technical reports. Administer the document control system, ensuring proper version control, routing, approval workflows, and retention. Write and edit technical documents with clarity, consistency, and proper terminology, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly documents. Ensure timely processing and release of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Deviations, and Controlled Document Updates. Maintain documentation templates, style guides, and naming conventions. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation, revision histories, and compliance evidence. Provide training and guidance to personnel on document control processes and documentation best practices. Job Qualifications Training in technical writing or documentation standards preferred. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as

ISO 13485, ISO

9001, and controlled documentation practices. Experience with Document Management Systems such as Point, SAP, ETQ, or similar platforms. Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical content. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong collaboration skills and ability to support multiple departments simultaneously. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Typical Education and Experience High School Degree or equivalent 2-4 years of experience in document control, technical writing, quality systems, or a related field. Experience in a regulated industry preferred.
