Director of Quality Position Overview Balance Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to hire a Quality Document Control Specialist . This role is ideal for someone with experience in document control, quality assurance, or regulated manufacturing who enjoys organization, accuracy, and maintaining controlled documentation. This position supports the Quality department by ensuring manufacturing documentation remains current, compliant, and audit-ready while collaborating with multiple departments throughout the organization. Responsibilities Create, revise, and maintain controlled quality documents, SOPs, forms, and manufacturing records. Process updates to Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) and other quality documentation. Ensure proper document revision control and distribution. Maintain document databases and quality records. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by retrieving required documentation. Partner with Quality, Operations, Production, Purchasing, and R&D to ensure documentation accuracy. Assist with traceability exercises, investigations, recalls, and quality initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve document control processes.
Qualifications Required:
1-3 years of experience in Document Control, Quality Assurance, or a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience in food, beverage, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology manufacturing. Experience with GMP, FDA, ISO, SQF, or HACCP requirements. Experience maintaining SOPs, controlled documents, or quality systems.
Pay:
$68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
