Description:

Position Summary:
The Technical Documentation Specialist adds value to BAPI and the Product Management team by supporting the Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams through the development, maintenance, and review of technical documentation and training materials for HVAC sensor products. This role translates complex technical information into clear, accurate resources such as installation manuals, product datasheets, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge materials. The position will also assist with development and updates of product training materials, including presentations and product training videos, for internal and external audiences. The Technical Documentation Specialist ensures documentation remains accurate and consistent with product updates, new releases, and ENF/ECN-driven changes (Engineering Notification Form / Engineering Change Notice).

Principle Responsibilities:
Documentation and Development:
Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation for HVAC sensor products, including installation manuals, product datasheets, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge resources. Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation for customers, technicians, and internal teams. Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with product specifications and company standards.
Information Gathering and Technical Accuracy:
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to collect accurate technical information. Verify technical content for accuracy and completeness before publication. Ensure all documentation reflects current product specifications, engineering changes (ENF/ECN), and industry standards.
Content Organization and Knowledge Management:
Maintain organized documentation systems and repositories to ensure the most current versions are accessible to internal teams and customers. Establish and manage internal knowledge resources to support training, product understanding, and customer support. Ensure documentation is easy to search, navigate, and maintain for long-term use.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Product Data Integration:
Assist Marketing and Product Management with creating training materials, presentations, and internal knowledge-based articles. Help organize and maintain documentation repositories for easy access and version tracking. Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand documentation needs across teams. Ensure deliverables support product releases, engineering updates, and team workflows. Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated by supervisor.

Bachelors Degree Degree Preferred:
Technical Writing, Communications, or related field (or experience).
