Facilitate the efficient operation of the records management office, document imaging and management, vaults and remote warehouseQualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalentSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance Excellent organizational skills Ability to drive between the Administration Building and the Records Warehouse Effective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience:
Two to three years of related work experienceMajor Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain office efficiency for theRecords Management Department:
training employees, answering phone, faxes and emails, maintaining supplies, monitoring equipment operation, processing invoices, scheduling pick-ups for record destruction at all campuses Serve customers who are requesting records and answering questions Utilize Laserfiche Records Management program, TEAMS and TREx for records transmittal Assist with the organization, maintenance, and indexing of the records vault and warehouse facility, using the RCAMS program for inventory of records Maintain filing system for Records Management Department Assist Plano ISD staff with record storage and disposition of records requests Assist with microfilm records maintenance, record storage, and computer indexing Train and oversee work of additional personnel in the department and summer projects Assist with preparation of the annual budget for the Records Management Department Attend training to maintain communication and record management skills Assist in the record management training of district staff Follow all rules, regulations, and policies of Plano ISD and follow directives from supervisor Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Administration and/or supervisorEquipment Used:
