Your core objective is to manage pipeline compliance projects, decipher

regulations, and create the active roadmaps (manuals and plans) that keep our clients running. You will collaborate directly with clients and ultimately step in to defend the client during regulatory compliance audits.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution:

Manage regulatory compliance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and internal workflows.

Technical Writing & Consulting:

Develop, maintain, and revise critical regulatory plans (O&M Manuals, Integrity Management Plans, Control Room Management Plans) while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

Regulatory Expertise:

Interpret and apply regulations from the

DOT, PHMSA

(e.g., 49 CFR Parts 191, 192, 195), and state agencies.

Audit Defense:

Participate in compliance audits—including preparation, onsite execution, and detailed reporting—with the expectation to eventually lead client defense.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related).

Licensure:

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification is highly preferred. If not currently certified, documented eligibility and intent to sit for the FE exam within 12 months of hire is required.

Communication:

Demonstrated ability to confidently translate complex regulatory logic to non-technical clients and verbally defend engineering data during high-stakes compliance audits.

Software Aptitude:

High aptitude for adapting to modern project management (e.g., Monday.com) and SaaS ecosystems. (Knowledge of ArcGIS or geospatial software is a plus).

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
