General Job Description:

This position ensures the compliance of sites with applicable state and local permits by using regulatory knowledge and field experience to conduct assessments, perform stormwater field sampling and provide analytical reporting in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This is a great entry-level opportunity for the right individual that is excited to learn and grow with our company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Represents Incompli as the main point of contact with customers on construction sites, checking in with them, communicating status updates and gathering feedback. Interpret and understand NPDES regulations pertaining to the General Construction Permit. Performs inspections during the contractor's working hours on a variety of construction and industrial sites to determine compliance status (must have a reliable vehicle to perform inspections daily on construction job sites throughout the Los Angeles Area). Verify site compliance with the SWPPP, site maps and permit conditions. Collects field data such as photos, notes and findings and compiles data into high quality customer reports within CloudCompli reporting software. Communicates findings and recommendations with clients and management in a clear, assertive, timely and respectful manner. Conduct regular and as needed stormwater related trainings and other relevant communications for Contractor/Site Superintendents. Attend contractor requested meetings with onsite team and lead agencies. Data entry related to sampling (AdHoc) and annual reporting in the SMARTS system. Provide rain event coverage during qualifying precipitation events. Follows site and facility safety guidelines.

Thoroughness Technical capabilities Attention to detail Organizational skills Problem solving/analysis Best Management Practice (BMP) and NPDES regulation knowledge or ability to learn about it Familiarity with field sampling equipment or ability to learn about it QSP certification required or ability to earn it within 6 months Maintenance of Professional Development Hours (PDH/PDU) as per EnviroCert Requirements What do we offer?
