Job Description:

Process permit applications and related documentation in accordance with local government regulations. Interact with applicants, contractors, and the public to provide information regarding permitting procedures and requirements. Review applications for completeness and compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. Utilize the iWorq software system for permit tracking and management (training provided through online training videos). Maintain accurate records and documentation related to permitting activities. Operate autonomously with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a governmental permitting environment is required. Strong understanding of permitting processes, codes, and regulations. Ability to work independently in a small municipal setting. Comfortable learning and navigating new software systems with limited in-person training.
