Job Description
Applicants must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in plant environmental work and hold a Bachelor of Science in a related technical field. This role will involve working as part of the site's EHS team, reporting to the Plant EHS Manager, and assisting with environmental compliance efforts at a large, unionized manufacturing facility. Responsibilities will include managing environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits in areas such as air quality, wastewater, stormwater, chemical handling, and waste disposal and recycling. Primary duties of this position will include: Establishing and maintaining processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulations. Providing guidance and training to staff members on their environmental responsibilities. Compiling and submitting necessary environmental reports to relevant regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. Coordinating all environmental sampling, reporting, and follow-up actions Preparing and submitting required reports and maintaining related records.
