Job Description

REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES.
- Village of Reese - Reese, MIThe Village of Reese invites statements of qualifications, experience, and interest from qualified engineering consultants for providing all required grant administration and construction engineering services for the Village of Reese's M-81 Stormwater Management Improvements project funded with Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending from the EPA.The RFQ will be limited to a total of 10 pages.

Village of Reese RFQ for
CDS/Community Project Funding Project:
M-81 Stormwater Project.

The Village of Reese will conduct an evaluation of the Statements of Qualifications.

The evaluation will be made on the following basis:
  • Qualifications and experience of the project team members proposed
  • Previous stormwater management construction engineering experience
  • Success in obtaining Congressionally Directed Spending grants in the last five years
  • Previous Grant Administration experience with the EPA, specifically administration of projects with CDS funding and additional funding sources
  • Firm's capacity to complete the projectThe Statement of Qualifications received will be reviewed and evaluated by the Village staff.
The firm determined to be most qualified will be recommended to the Village Council to complete this project. It is the intention of the Village to retain the selected firm by October 12, 2026. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject all RFQ's, waive any informalities and award the contract to the most qualified firm.

Statement of Qualifications must include the following information:

A.Experience with storm water systems including a description and location of types of projectsB.Experience in assisting communities with obtaining CDS grants and other similar grants.

C.Successful CDS/CPF grants secured in the last three years.

D.Experience providing Grant Administration services for projects including multiple funding sources.

E.Organization chart showing staff assigned for each portion of the project.

F.Qualifications and Experience of Key Staff to be assigned to the project.
