Job Description
Overview As an Air Quality Engineer or Scientist for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our St. Charles, MO office, you will work with a fun and engaging team of professionals to evaluate and present information regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications. Job duties will include performing engineering calculations, compiling permit application documents, meeting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, communicating with agency personnel, and evaluating control technologies for client facilities. Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship. Qualifications Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related field Previous internship is a plus Experience with atmospheric emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and pollution control technologies is a plus Knowledge of New Source Review procedures is a plus Familiarity with air compliance needs of the natural gas, manufacturing, or power industries is a plus Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD is a plus About Us We have experts!
