190882 Position Overview Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a full-time Environmental Compliance Technician to join our Raleigh, North Carolina team. Projects include providing environmental compliance services associated with construction of residential developments, industrial complexes, utility, and transportation development. Primary Duties- Environmental compliance inspections and reporting
- Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development and auditing
- Coordinating with federal and state resource agencies with regard to wetlands, erosion and sediment control and stormwater compliance
- Best Management Practices (BMP) construction monitoring Qualifications Minimum Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines under limited supervision
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience working with a diverse client base in both the public and private sectors
- Willingness to regularly travel regionally Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience performing environmental compliance in relation to National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) inspections and reporting
- North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater certificates
- Experience working on energy generation and transmission projects.
