Job Description

Make an Impact We're hiring an experienced Environmental Permitting Specialist to support electric transmission projects across the Carolinas.
Ideal candidates have experience in:
Environmental Consulting Electric Utility Projects Transmission Lines Pipelines Roadway or Linear Infrastructure Please Note:
This is not a general Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) role. What You'll Do Obtain federal, state, and local environmental permits Support transmission line and substation projects Ensure environmental compliance throughout construction
Review:
Wetland Delineations Habitat Assessments Phase I ESAs Erosion & Sediment Control Plans Civil Engineering Drawings Coordinate with project teams and regulatory agencies Manage permit schedules and project deadlines Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Engineering, or related field 7+ years of environmental permitting experience Experience permitting projects in North Carolina & South Carolina Experience with:
USACE 401 & 404
Permits SWPPP Construction Stormwater Floodplain/Floodway Permits Preferred Environmental consulting experience Electric utility or transmission projects Linear infrastructure experience ArcGIS experience Experience working with
USACE, USFWS, SHPO, NC/SC DEQ
Certifications such as CPESC, PWS, PE, or QEP are a plus
Pay:
$62.00 - $65.00 per hour
