Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Water Management Specialist to join our team in Reno, NV. This is a flexible schedule and requires approximately 5-8 hours per month on average, We will train the right person to take on-site readings via a testing instrument (i.e. chlorine, temperature, and pH readings) and collect building water samples to be sent to a lab for cultures. The position requires self-motivation and the capacity to work independently. Must have excellent communication abilities and basic computer skills. The job often requires a great deal of walking around client sites, may include climbing stairs or ladders, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds.. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the Veteran Administration Healthcare System. Requirements Safely collect water samples from various locations throughout the hospital. Complete the required paperwork and ship samples to the lab. Have a valid Driver's License. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence and the importance of PPE use. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and compliance reporting.
