Job Description:
The Technical Specialist in Accommodative Services organizes note-taking services; maintains the assistive technology log in/out processes; administers tests to students with accommodative needs and may act as a reader, scribe etc.; prepares testing materials; ensures integrity of testing environment and materials; provides coverage in the Testing Center when needed; and maintains current knowledge of changes in test administration policies and procedures. The Technical Specialist will work with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the Strategic Plan.
Requirements:
Required:
Associate's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
Preferred:
Experience in a testing, technology or related field; or experience in a college support position, preferably in the field of accommodative services Excellent communication skills and experiences working with students.
Additional Information:
Strategic Planning $19/hr.
