Not eligible for visa sponsorship The Learning Systems Specialist will support the client's migration of learning content away from their current LXP platform and into a new LMS, ensuring a smooth transition for 30 content creators and approximately 300 courses before a critical end-of-January deadline. Job Summary

• Recreate learning plans and pathways in the destination LMS based on a finalized content inventory and approved destination mapping.
• Rebuild learning experiences across modalities, including Google Sites and Confluence Wiki, using Markdown/HTML as needed.
• Prepare for and support user acceptance testing (UAT), including testing representative learner journeys and migrated plans and pathways.
• Validate migrated experiences, document defects, and coordinate follow-up actions prior to final sign-off.
• Surface dependencies, risks, and decisions that could affect the migration timeline and escalate as appropriate.
• Apply sound judgment to determine the appropriate content destination structure (tracks, collections, or channels) within the LMS without requiring instructional design guidance on every item.
• Maintain strong documentation and communication practices to keep stakeholders aligned throughout the migration.

Minimum Requirements:

• Deep familiarity with LMS administration and LXP management, including learner journeys and content experiences.
• Hands-on experience with platform migration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting across learning systems.
• Direct experience with the Degreed LXP platform.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and move work forward with limited oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct hands-on experience with the PlusPlus LMS.
• UAT experience, including the ability to fact-check and validate migrated content.
• Experience using AI tools (such as Claude) to support content rebuilding tasks, including generating Markdown or HTML.
• Experience managing or supporting large-scale content migrations (200 courses or assets).
