Reporting directly to the Division Director for Environmental Services, Senior Sanitarian, or Supervising Inspector, responsible for performing environmental inspections and technical plan review to ensure compliance of on-site sewage facilities (OSSF) with State and County requirements. Level I of III in Sanitarian. Reviews and generates comments of on-site sewage facility permits applications for compliance Conducts and documents pre-installation, installation, and post-installation OSSF inspections Conducts and documents subdivision and Water Pollution Abatement Plan (WPAP) inspections Performs and documents public health nuisance investigations Meets with landowners, designers, and contractors to respond to questions and issues Assists with public information requests and document management Assists in the management of the maintenance records tracking system Attends all meetings and trainings, as required Performs special duties as assigned
