Job Description

Purpose and Impact:
Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level III to provide technical leadership for Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) operations supporting Amentum's Skywalker program. The WIDS Specialist Level III is responsible for administering the Bastille WIDS platform, leading Monitoring & Response (M&R) activities, analyzing wireless threats, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC requirements. As such, the WIDS Specialist Level III will need a strong understanding of the Bastille WIDS system, DoD/IC wireless protocols, RF theory, and comprehensive knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities. Because each WIDS Specialist Level III will have a team of direct reports, experience managing geographically separated teams is expected.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Essential Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the Bastille WIDS platform in support of enterprise operations. Lead M&R activities to identify, investigate, and respond to wireless threats. Analyze RF activity and unauthorized wireless signals. Utilize wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment to identify, locate, and report unauthorized devices. Develop and maintain WIDS operating procedures, reporting templates, and technical documentation. Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security incidents. Supervise and mentor WIDS personnel, including geographically dispersed teams. Ensure WIDS operations comply with applicable DoD and IC policies and procedures. Support system deployments, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Office Setting, but may be required to install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders and lifting up to 20 lbs. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Extensive knowledge of the Bastille WIDS platform and wireless intrusion detection operations. Comprehensive understanding of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection. Experience conducting M&R activities and wireless incident analysis. Knowledge of DoD and IC policies governing WIDS operations. Experience leading technical teams and coordinating geographically dispersed personnel. Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills. Ability to travel worldwide.

Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; Experience administering Bastille WIDS and supporting enterprise wireless security operations.
Compensation Details:
$152,000-$172,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
