Job Title:
Construction Environmental Inspector Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Inspector responsible for conducting daily and storm-event site inspections. The role involves coordination with regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with environmental permits, and working alongside construction contractors to maintain site compliance. Adhering to company safety rules and practices is essential. Responsibilities Conduct daily and storm-event site inspections. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage correspondence. Oversee BMP (Best Management Practices) maintenance. Perform monthly spill inspections. Collaborate with construction contractors to ensure site compliance. Adhere to company safety rules and practices. Essential Skills Proficiency in construction inspection and environmental science. Experience providing environmental inspection services. Familiarity with environmental permit compliance, including stormwater and wetlands. Experience with SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working around and on construction sites is beneficial. Relevant professional licenses in the field. Work Environment This position is on-site in Ozaukee County and requires availability from Monday to Friday. The role demands working outdoors in all weather conditions and involves being on your feet throughout the day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Washington, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
