Develop environmental assessments, technical reports, and complete permitting packages.
Ensure all permitting documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines.
Maintain organized electronic and hard copy permit files, tracking systems, and compliance logs in accordance with company records management standards.
Serve as primary liaison with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and other regulatory agencies.
Coordinate and facilitate agency meetings, communications, and information requests.
Lead and support NEPA and MEPA compliance activities, including EIS and EA development.
Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations to project execution.
Apply Montana Facility Siting Act (MFSA) requirements to routing and facility siting decisions.
Ensure compliance with Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and other state agencies.
Monitor environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle and maintain required documentation.
Identify compliance risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Manage multiple projects, timelines, and regulatory deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align permitting and compliance with project goals.
Conduct fieldwork, coordinate environmental surveys, and travel to project sites as needed.
Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, including the BLM.Understanding of Montana regulatory requirements (MFSA, DEQ).Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Additional Eligibility QualificationsEnglish language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or AbilitiesA bachelors degree in a related field with three (3) to five (5) years experience in federal pipeline permitting and compliance within the oil and gas sector; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be consideredWorking knowledge ofNEPA/MEPA
processes, including EIS and EA development.Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, including the BLM.Understanding of Montana regulatory requirements (MFSA, DEQ).Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
