As a Mitigation Crew Chief, you will work mainly at client job sites to aid in mitigating residential or commercial property loss and/or damage from: Water Fire Mold Weather Biohazard As a Mitigation Crew Chief, your job duties include but are not limited to: Creating and executing project plans per industry standards Effectively and efficiently communicate with supervisors, crews and clients Completing documentation, photos, sketches and notes for all assigned projects Training and motivating your crew of mitigation technicians Maintain professional cleanliness of fleet vehicles and client job sites Monitor job site progress; recommend modifications to project plan as appropriate Water extraction Cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing Placing and operating loss mitigation equipment such as fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and heaters Rolling up carpet Cutting and removing drywall Repairs and minor construction Board-up and tarping Cleaning up and throwing out damaged debris and materials Smoke and soot removal Mold containment and/or removal Cleaning contents and personal property Use and application of appropriate professional cleaning products Position Requirements 3 years of restoration mitigation experience; I year minimum as a team lead Valid driver's license Authorized to Work in the United States At least 18 years of age Overtime, to meet the needs of our customers On Call, when necessary Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects Ability to work with/around cleaning agents Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law If you are looking for a fast paced job that gets you out from behind a boring desk and puts you right in the middle of helping clients put their homes, businesses and lives back together, then apply now!
