Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Chief to lead our fire department with energy, dedication, and a commitment to community safety. As the top-ranking officer, you will oversee all fire suppression activities, emergency response operations, and departmental administration. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver prompt, efficient, and professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and preparedness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in public safety while fostering a proactive and motivated team environment. Duties Lead and manage the fire department's daily operations, ensuring swift response to emergencies including fires, accidents, hazardous materials incidents, and rescue missions Develop, implement, and review departmental policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance operational effectiveness Coordinate with local agencies, emergency responders, and community organizations to foster collaborative safety initiatives Oversee maintenance of firefighting equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure readiness at all times Conduct regular drills and training exercises focused on fire suppression techniques, first aid procedures, CPR, and basic life support skills Supervise personnel recruitment, performance evaluations, scheduling, and professional development opportunities Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards related to firefighting operations and emergency medical services Skills Extensive EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) experience combined with strong first aid knowledge Proficiency in basic life support (BLS), CPR certification, and vital signs assessment Mechanical knowledge related to firefighting equipment and emergency vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during rescue operations or equipment handling Valid driver's license with experience in operating large emergency response vehicles Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team under pressure Strong communication skills for effective coordination during emergencies and community outreach Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, Hazmat Ops and Awareness, Fost Training and Fire Chief Executive Training (Required after 1 Year) 5 years experience in the fire service Join us as a Fire Chief to lead with energy and purpose!
