PRN | 8 hour shifts | Ability to pick up days and nights needed How you'll make an impact in this role Protect the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by proactively identifying threats and responding to security incidents with a calm, decisive presence. Lead complex investigations and exercise legal authority, including making arrests when necessary, to ensure the hospital remains a safe, law-abiding environment for care. Collaborate with external law enforcement agencies and internal clinical teams to coordinate emergency responses and provide expert testimony that supports justice and safety. Empower the hospital community by facilitating safety training and education, ensuring every staff member feels prepared and supported in emergency situations. Manage critical mobile resources by operating and maintaining patrol vehicles safely, ensuring a rapid and reliable response across the entire campus. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
Law Enforcement credentialed from an Indiana agency obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need Candidates must have a law enforcement certification and ability to use arrest authority powers at the hospital from their sponsoring agency.
