Job Description
The City of Richfield is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to serve as its next Fire Chief. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a dedicated career department committed to providing high-quality fire, emergency medical, prevention, and risk-reduction services to the community. The Fire Chief will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the department, including emergency fire and EMS response, fire prevention, organizational development, and community risk reduction. The successful candidate will work closely with City leadership, regional partners, and the community to ensure the department remains responsive, innovative, and prepared to meet evolving public safety needs. The Fire Department consists of 22 full-time firefighters along with a Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief (currently vacant), three captains, three Lieutenants and an Administrative Assistant.
