Creates case and incident files and reports; combines all information to create a complete case file. Maintains office communication and correspondence; answers phones, communicates messages to the appropriate recipient. Assists customers and citizens of the county daily. Schedules Inspectors and Investigators appointments and life safety inspections; communicates with the customer to schedule prompt inspections and meetings as needed per each inspector/investigator. Creates, organizes, and maintains files for records; creates new files for new projects and ensures the information is accurate. Processes plans and payments for the inspection division; ensures accurate plans log for plans received and communicates with customers for status updates. Responds to open records and any inquiries related to the Fire Marshal's Office. Assists with monthly reports and entry into the Records Management System for the department. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
