What they do
A Fire Inspector or Investigator visits buildings and inspects for fire hazards. Checks buildings for compliance with government fire codes. Inspects equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems. May inspect larger building structures such as malls or stadiums. Visits fire scenes, collects evidence and analyzes findings to determine the cause of fires; may provide official findings or testimony in cases where arson is the cause of a fire.

Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and maintain: Fire extinguishers Fire suppression systems Perform repairs on suppression systems, whether discharged or not Complete service documentation and inspection reports Follow NFPA standards and Florida fire code requirements Work efficiently onsite while maintaining strong safety practices We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
