We are seeking an experienced Field Fire Extinguisher Technician licensed to service portable fire extinguishers (46 License). This role involves field inspections, repairs, tagging, compliance documentation, and customer service across commercial client sites. Responsibilities Inspect, service, repair, and tag portable fire extinguishers in accordance with NFPA 10 and State Fire Marshal requirements. Perform annual inspections, recharging, maintenance, and compliance documentation. Complete field service calls, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure accurate tagging and reporting. Maintain professional communication with customers and provide clear explanations of inspection findings. Ensure all work meets regulatory, safety, and compliance standards. Requirements Massachusetts 46 License (required). Hands‑on experience with portable fire extinguisher service, inspections, repairs, and tagging. Knowledge of NFPA 10 and State Fire Marshal regulations. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field. Preferred Experience with CO2, dry chemical, and clean agent extinguishers.
