Job Description

Job Summary Fire Watch Specialists are responsible for ensuring safety and compliance in environments where fire hazards may exist and existing fire safety / suppression systems are down. Specialists monitor designated areas, maintain a vigilant presence, and respond promptly to any potential fire risks. Duties Conduct regular surveillance of the assigned area to identify potential fire or additional hazards. Monitor equipment and activities that may pose a fire risk, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency services in case of an incident. Document any incidents or observations accurately and report them to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications Fire Watch Academy Level 1 Fire Watch Guard (may obtain after hiring prior to first shift) Previous experience in fire watch, firefighting, EMS, security, law enforcement, military service or electrical is preferred. Ability to remain vigilant and focused during long periods of monitoring. Excellent reliability and observational skills with attention to detail for identifying risks.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
