Duties Respond promptly to fire, water, flood, and mold remediation emergencies, providing immediate mitigation services. Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and debris removal using specialized equipment such as power tools and hand tools. Conduct detailed assessments of damage using industry-standard software like Xactimate to prepare accurate restoration estimates. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection protocols diligently to ensure safety during all operations. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site visits and transportation of equipment and materials. Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and surface sanitation with attention to detail. Follow strict safety protocols throughout all phases of restoration work to protect yourself and clients' property. Collaborate with clients to communicate progress, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service during stressful situations. Maintain thorough documentation of work performed, including incident reports and detailed logs for each project. Adhere to industry standards for safety and quality assurance while working with construction tools and power equipment. Experience Prior experience in restoration industry roles such as fire damage cleanup or water mitigation is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of flood restoration, mold remediation, and water damage restoration techniques. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is advantageous. Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning machines, and construction equipment. Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection during hazardous environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients under stressful circumstances. Ability to work on-call shifts flexibly to respond promptly to emergency situations at any time. Construction experience or background in building trades enhances your ability to perform comprehensive restorations effectively.
