Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team. This position involves responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and ensuring public safety.
Duties:
- Respond to fire and medical emergencies promptly
- Administer basic life support and advanced life support as needed
- Perform CPR, assess vital signs, and provide first aid
- Operate emergency vehicles safely, requiring commercial driving skills
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate firefighting equipment
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Paramedic
- Firefighter I and II certifications preferred
- CPR certification
- Proficiency in assessing vital signs and providing medical care
- Mechanical knowledge for operating firefighting equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and the public
