Job Description

The City of Fort Wright is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic. This position will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to, fire prevention/suppression, emergency medical duties, rescue, report preparation, equipment maintenance, etc. The successful candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalency; A Valid Driver's License; Current National Registry Paramedic Certification or KY Paramedic Certification; ACLS, CPR, and PALS Certifications;
KY 400 HR
Certification or Firefighter I and II Certification; CPAT Card (KY Firefighter laterals are exempt). Starting Salary (DOQ) for the position is $60,569.31, plus 416 hours of regularly scheduled over-time, a $4,653 state hazardous duty incentive, and an excellent benefit package.
