No Experience is necessary. Paid training for Michigan Firefighter I & II, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic certifications are provided upon hiring as well as additional paid training opportunities. Successful candidates must be seeking a fast paced, growing department, and have the desire to deliver state of the art fire-rescue services to the community. Additionally, successful candidates must possess characteristics of an outstanding fire service professional, including honesty, integrity, dedication, caring, and believe in teamwork. Applicants must live within 3-5 miles of our township border or agree to relocate within 45 days of hire.
