TMFPD Firefighter/Paramedics respond across suburban, rural, and wildland-urban interface environments, providing structural and wildland firefighting, advanced life support emergency medical care, rescue, hazardous materials response, and other emergency and public-assistance services. This recruitment is for experienced Firefighter/Paramedics, not entry-level candidates. To qualify, applicants must have: A high school diploma or equivalent. Completed their current department's Firefighter probationary period. At least one year of current, full-time, continuous employment as a Firefighter/Paramedic. The one year may include probationary time. Experience with a public fire district, agency, authority, or department providing all-risk Fire/EMS services.
