Job Description

MILTON FREEWATER RURAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND AMBULANCE SERVICE IN MILTON FREEWATER, OREGON PARAMEDIC/FIREFIGHTER
Milton Freewater Rural Fire Department and Ambulance Service is accepting applications for the position of Paramedic/Firefighter. Milton Freewater is a farming community in Eastern Oregon. Cost of living is among the lowest in the State. Near the Blue Mountains with prime hiking, hunting and fishing. Near the Snake and Columbia Rivers. New schools. We are looking for a motivated person who wants to become part of our community.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2 Year AAOT or above. Current Oregon or National Registry Paramedic certificate (Must be able to get Oregon Cert before start date).
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license within 60 days. Candidate must maintain Oregon certification, at least to the level of certification at time of hire, as a condition of employment for this position. Any other equivalent education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of formal education and experience requirements listed above. Equivalency will be at the sole discretion of the Chief Officers. Current Oregon or National Registry Paramedic. Current Firefighter 1
WAGE:
To be determined by certifications, qualifications and experience. Salary Start 74,000.00 401K and Health (medical, dental, vision) Insurance. Residency required with in 5 Miles of main station for response. Current schedule 3 days on 6 days off, subject to change.
