Role:
As a Fire Fighter II, you will receive intermediate-level airfield firefighting/crash rescue training and experience under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include mastering the use and maintenance of specialized fire fighting and crash/rescue equipment, delivering fire prevention services, and executing fire fighting and crash/rescue procedures and practices.Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must meet or exceed the following criteria: Qualify for a "Favorable" federal background investigation. Must be a US Citizen. Be at least 18 years old. Possess a valid Utah Driver's License and have clean driving record. Qualify to obtain an SLCIAP Aircraft Movement Area Badge. PassNFPA 1582
medical evaluation. Complete Firefighter skills attributes. Qualifications In addition, the incumbent must: Possess DoD Certification or ProBoard/IFSAC equivalent; Fire Fighter II. Possess or be able to obtain Airport Fire Fighter, HAZMAT Operations, Driver/Operator Pumper, ARFF & Mobile Water Supply within 1 year of hire. Obtain an appropriate U.S. Government Driver License within 1 year of hire. Possess current State of Utah Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or National Registry (NREMT) equivalent (with the ability to obtain Utah reciprocity immediately upon hire).
