About Redline Gear Cleaning:
Redline Gear Cleaning is dedicated to providing top-notch cleaning and repair services for first responder gear. Our state-of-the-art Mobile Repair Unit allows us to deliver these services directly to our customers, ensuring their gear is always in optimal condition.
Job Summary:
The Mobile Firefighter Gear Sewing Technician will be responsible for repairing and cleaning first responder gear using our state-of-the-art Mobile Repair Unit. This role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Mobile Repair Unit to travel to customer locations and provide on-site gear repair and cleaning services. Inspect, repair, and maintain first responder gear, ensuring it meets safety and performance standards. Clean and sanitize gear using specialized equipment and cleaning agents. Document all repairs and maintenance performed, maintaining accurate records. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide updates on the status of their gear. Ensure the Mobile Repair Unit is stocked with necessary tools, parts, and cleaning supplies. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in gear repair is a plus. Proven experience in gear repair and maintenance, preferably for first responder equipment. Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to travel to various customer locations.
