And Paid Additional Accident Policy for Employees out on Worker's Comp. Westview-Fairforest Fire Department is seeking to hire dedicated, dependable individuals to join our team. These positions will respond to emergencies including fire suppression and emergency medical response calls. The positions will work a 48 hour on and 96 hours off rotation shift schedule. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation through the South Carolina Fire Marshal's Office per provisions of Title 40, Chapter 80, of the South Carolina Code of Laws.Qualifications for experienced Firefighters are:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum Valid SC Driver's License with insurable record
- IFSAC Firefighter II
- NREMT- Basic Certification (min. preferred - or must receive NREMT within 1 year of hire date)
- Haz-Mat Ops Certification (min.)
- EVDT and Pumper Operations 1 (preferred)
