FIREFIGHTER
•PARAMEDIC/AEMT

PAY RATE:
Paramedic 1: $69,888•104,832/annually, AEMT 1: $60,834•91,252/annually (Depending on experience and qualifications, with starting wage not typically above the mid-point on the range)
SCHEDULE
48 hours on, 96 hours off, 24-day cycle
DEPARTMENT
Fire
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from High School or equivalent. Must possess a current, valid Driver's License, and have a good driving record. The successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug testing. Will consider Paramedics/AEMTS without Firefighter certifications, must be currently certified to test Preferred Paramedic certification Preferred Firefighter 1, Firefighter II Certification Certifications from other states will be considered as the Utah Fire Service Certification System offers reciprocity to certifications from other states as long as it has either an IFSAC seal or a Pro Board certificate. NREMT must be obtained before test date of October 10, 2026 Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
