Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated emergency response team as a Firefighter/Paramedic, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding our community through rapid response, rescue operations, and advanced medical care. This dynamic position combines firefighting expertise with paramedic skills to deliver comprehensive emergency services. You will be at the forefront of saving lives, protecting property, and providing critical medical assistance in high-pressure situations. Your energetic commitment and proactive approach will help ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors alike. Duties Respond swiftly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, accidents, and hazardous situations to provide immediate assistance. Operate fire suppression equipment, including hoses, pumps, ladders, and rescue tools to contain fires and perform rescues. Administer first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic life support procedures to stabilize patients until further medical care is available. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' vital signs and monitor their condition during transport or treatment. Drive emergency vehicles safely under various conditions while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Perform mechanical inspections of firefighting apparatus and medical equipment regularly to ensure readiness. Lift heavy objects or rescue victims from dangerous environments using proper techniques to prevent injury.
