The Compliance Inspector is responsible for performing advanced inspections of firefighter turnout gear (coats, pants, and associated components) in accordance with

NFPA 1851

standards, identifying defects or non-compliance issues, and accurately documenting findings in our internal tracking system. This role is central to the integrity of the service we provide to client departments — the quality of the inspection directly determines whether a piece of gear is returned to service, flagged for repair, or retired. We understand that reliable, detail-focused inspection work benefits from a schedule that fits our team members' lives. This position offers flexibility within our standard operating hours between 8:00am-4:00pm.

The role involves:

Extended periods of close, detailed visual and tactile inspection work. Standing, bending, and repetitive handling of gear components Lifting and moving gear and equipment (up to [specify weight] lbs) Working in a team-based shop environment alongside cleaning, repair, and administrative staff

Pay:
