Quality Control Specialist Charleston Marine LLC Pay:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour

Monday-Friday | Day Shift | No Nights | No Weekends Protecting Our Reputation, One Boat at a Time At Charleston Marine, we believe exceptional customer service begins with quality. Every boat that enters and leaves our facility represents our reputation, and every customer deserves to receive their boat clean, complete, and ready for the water. We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist who takes pride in doing things the right way. This position is responsible for inspecting every boat at check-in and before delivery, preparing boats for customer pickup, and ensuring nothing leaves our facility without meeting Charleston Marine's standards. This is much more than washing boats. You are the final quality checkpoint before a customer gets their boat back. Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections using a written checklist when boats arrive for service and before they are returned to the customer. Wash and prepare boats for customer pickup. Verify completed work and identify anything that needs attention before delivery. Document and communicate any concerns to the Service Manager. Safely move boats throughout the property using shop equipment. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized showroom and facility. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has excellent attention to detail. Works well independently without constant supervision. Takes pride in producing quality work. Is dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors. Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must already know how to safely back and maneuver boat trailers. We are willing to train the right candidate in every other aspect of the job, but trailer backing is an essential skill that applicants must already possess. Comfortable operating shop equipment to move boats. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions. Previous boating experience is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
