Job Summary:

Detail parts inspector reports to the Quality Manager , Must ensure that all work performed on the Aircraft and its components comply with Repair Station, Manufactures, Customer, FAR, and airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities:

Dimensional inspection of engine parts. The Detail Parts Inspector is responsible for inspecting aircraft engines and component parts to ensure they meet FAA regulations, customer specifications, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company quality standards. This position performs dimensional and visual inspections throughout the repair process and ensures all documentation is accurate and complete before parts are released for service. Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components. Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment. Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components Performing inspection of incoming parts, and final inspection of articles. Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines. Ensuring the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms

Requirements

Requirements:

Must be proficient with precision measuring equipment. Must be proficient with reading , writing & Understanding English. Must be proficient with standard computer office software. Must have at least 18 months experience in aviation maintenance. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Any of the following are a plus:
