Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Law Clerk or Junior AZ-Licensed Litigation Associate Attorney to join a defense-focused litigation practice. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career legal team member with up to five years of experience who wants to build practical skills across a range of civil matters. The firm handles general civil defense work and is prepared to provide guidance and development for someone eager to grow in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys in managing defense litigation matters from initial case review through resolution
  • Prepare motions, memoranda, and other court filings with careful attention to legal analysis and procedural requirements
  • Conduct legal research and develop written summaries to strengthen case strategy and briefing efforts
  • Assist with written discovery, document review, and the organization of case materials for active litigation files
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, and case-related documents for attorney review and client service needs
  • Monitor deadlines, coordinate with the legal team on case progress, and help maintain accurate litigation calendars
  • Participate in broader civil litigation activities as needed, including fact development and preparation for hearings or related proceedings
