Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, Arizona-licensed litigation / employment litigation attorney to join a respected mid-sized law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. This opportunity is well suited for a motivated legal specialist who thrives in a fast-paced practice and is ready to handle a broad range of litigation matters with increasing independence. Candidates with an employment law background are welcome, though strong general civil litigation experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, maintaining momentum and careful attention at each stage of the process.
  • Prepare persuasive motions, legal memoranda, and court filings that reflect strong research, writing, and analytical judgment.
  • Oversee written discovery, develop strategic responses, and work with clients to gather and organize relevant information.
  • Conduct legal research and draft briefs that support case strategy in both procedural and substantive disputes.
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case planning, witness preparation, and overall litigation strategy.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, conferences, and other litigation-related proceedings as appropriate to experience level.
  • Handle matters involving workplace and employment-related claims when needed, while supporting a wider portfolio of civil litigation cases.
