Personal Injury Litigation Law Clerk Makkabi Law Group, APC — Litigation Department Beverly Hills, CA | Full-Time | In-Person About the Firm Makkabi Law Group is a plaintiff-side personal injury and wrongful death firm in Beverly Hills. Since founding, our attorneys have secured more than $300 million in settlements and judgments for clients across California. We are an 80-person firm with 8 litigation attorneys handling catastrophic injury, bad faith insurance, and complex commercial liability matters. We are hiring a Litigation Law Clerk to work directly under our litigation attorneys on active discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation across a high-volume caseload. What You'll Do Litigation and Motion Practice Draft motions to compel, oppositions, MSJ/MSC filings, and dispositive motion responses Draft meet-and-confer letters and manage discovery disputes to resolution Draft mediation briefs, demand packages, and settlement communications Support trial preparation: motions in limine, trial briefs, exhibit lists, witness outlines, and trial binders Discovery Draft and respond to Form/Special Interrogatories, RFAs, RFPs, and subpoenas Review and summarize medical records, billing, expert reports, and investigative evidence Build case timelines and damages models to support negotiation and trial strategy Coordinate with experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel to keep discovery on schedule Client and Case Contact Communicate directly with clients and gather declarations Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial as permitted Participate in attorney strategy sessions on active matters Who We're Looking For Prior personal injury litigation experience is required. This is not an entry-level role. Demonstrated ability to independently draft litigation-ready motions, oppositions, meet-and-confers, and demands Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through under deadline pressure JD graduate or post-bar clerk. Bar admission not required.
