This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex legal projects, assist with document preparation, research, and case management, all while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a strong foundation in civil law to ensure efficient case handling and legal administrative support. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings across various civil law areas such as family law, landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, and securities law. Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies and client advisories. Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws including UCC law, tribal regulations, environmental law, workers' compensation law, patent law, and immigration law. Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems while maintaining meticulous filing and document review procedures. Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling interviews or client meetings, and maintaining organized workflows. Provide executive administrative support by handling correspondence, managing calendars, and ensuring effective communication within the legal team. Experience Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in civil litigation or related fields such as estate planning or environmental law. Familiarity with legal administrative experience including document review, proofreading, transcription, and contract drafting. Hands-on experience with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis is highly preferred. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of legal case management software including iManage or PCLaw is advantageous. Experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced law office environment across diverse practice areas such as family law, tribal regulations, securities law, or workers' compensation is desirable.
