Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our dynamic legal team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, civil litigation, and more. As a Law Clerk, you will play a vital role in assisting attorneys with research, document review, case management, and client communication. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their legal expertise while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage to support case preparation and strategy. Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage case files and document review processes utilizing document management systems and PCLaw for billing and case tracking. Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and client meetings by organizing materials and summarizing relevant information. Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining organized records of case documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders through professional phone etiquette and written correspondence. Contribute to project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and supporting procedural law compliance. Requirements Paralegal experience or prior law office support experience demonstrating familiarity with legal procedures and documentation. Strong research skills with proficiency in Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools. Knowledge of diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, civil litigation support, and general & commercial litigation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with document review systems like iManage. Experience using legal case management software such as PCLaw or similar platforms is preferred. Strong written communication skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence. Ability to handle sensitive information professionally while adhering to confidentiality standards. Effective time management skills combined with proactive problem-solving abilities to meet deadlines consistently. Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
