Ideal candidate is recent graduate from ABA accredited law school, excited about civil litigation, hard working, and anxious to learn about the day-to-day practice of law. Projects will include legal research, motions, discovery, trial briefs, expert witness issues, and other matters related to preparing the case for trial, as assigned by the supervising attorneys. This is contemplated as a temporary position, but for an exceptional individual who performs well and demonstrates aptitude for a ligation, the opportunity may lead to full time employment with the firm upon admission to the bar or introductions to colleagues at peer firms. - Strong research and analysis skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Experience in litigation and legal drafting
- Knowledge of contracts and fraud prevention
- Law Clerk, Legal Secretary, or Paralegal experience is a plus
